Snagsis is a construction snagging app published by 1One Collective, Pune, India. This policy describes what the app collects, where that information goes, and what you can ask us to delete. It is written to be checked against the app, not to be taken on trust.

What the app collects

Your contacts are read, never uploaded

If you use the contact picker to add a client or a contractor, the app reads your address book on your device to show you the list. Only the one contact you choose is saved into Snagsis. Your address book is never uploaded, copied, or transmitted anywhere.

Photos are analysed by Google Gemini

When you use AI detection on a snag photo or scan a floor plan, that image is sent to Google’s Gemini models for analysis, through a server we control. Google processes the image to return a description, a category, a trade and a confidence score. We say this plainly because it is the one thing about this app that people would reasonably assume was not happening: the photo leaves your phone.

Photos you do not run detection on are not sent to Google. Voice notes are never sent to Google. Google’s handling of the images it receives is governed by its own terms for the Gemini API.

Where your data is stored

Your records are stored on your device and synchronised to our backend, which runs on Supabase. We use Supabase for authentication and for storing your projects, rooms, snags and team. One-time passcodes for sign-in are delivered by SMS providers (currently Twilio).

There is no tracking, and no analytics

Snagsis contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, and no crash-reporting or behavioural-tracking service of any kind. We do not build a profile of you, we do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not sell or share your information with data brokers or advertisers. Nothing in the app is instrumented to watch what you do in it.

Deleting things

Deleted projects, rooms and snags go to Recently Deleted and can be restored for seven days, after which they are permanently removed along with their photos.

You can delete your account yourself, from your profile in the app — you will be offered a copy of your records first and asked to confirm. Deleting removes your account, the workspaces you own and everything in them, and replaces your name with “a former member” in records kept by workspaces you were a member of. The records themselves belong to those workspaces and stay; your name does not. You can also ask us to do it by writing to the address below, and we will confirm when it is done.

Children

Snagsis is a business tool intended for professional use in construction and interior work. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect.
